Ladytron
Not to be confused with the alt-dance band of the same name, this Ladytron is a kin to the British glam rock movement of the early '70s, influenced by such groundbreakers as David Bowie, T. Rex, and Roxy Music. Comprised mostly of members from other bands, such as Brother JT & Vibrolux and the Photon Band, Ladytron (which was titled after a song from Roxy Music's classic 1972 self-titled debut) signed on to the Shimmy Disc/Knitting Factory label, issuing a critically acclaimed self-titled debut in February of 2000. ~ Greg Prato, All Music Guide
