SXSW Performer: School of Seven Bells (Brooklyn, NY)

Dreamy and ethereal, with abstract lyrics, School of Seven Bells is a relatively new project of Benjamin Curtis, formerly of Secret Machines. The band--which also features singing twin sisters Alejandra and Claudia Deheza-self-produced its debut album, "Alpinisms," which surfaced on Ghostly International last fall. The video for School of Seven Bells' latest single, "Half Asleep," features the Deheza sisters as earthbound beauties.   / Read more

Brooklyn-based Ben Curtis, former guitarist for Secret Machines, created his own electro-pop outfit, School of Seven Bells , in 2007.
