Sevendust Welcomes Return Of Original Guitarist
Sevendust 's original guitar player, Clint Lowery, has returned to the band after a mutual split five years ago, according to a press release. Lowery was with the band when they formed in 1995 and together, they recorded five albums. When Sevendust left TVT Records in 2003, the band and Lowery parted ways and Lowery joined the band Dark New Day.
Lowery was replaced by Sonny Mayo, who went on to record three records with Sevendust, including the band's most recent studio album, "Chapter VII: Hope & Sorrow," which will be released April 1. Lowery, who now is replacing Mayo, will join the band on their upcoming tour beginning April 9 at the Mojo Room in Port St. Lucie, FL.
