More Toni Braxton Shows Canceled
The Flamingo Las Vegas hotel-casino has canceled four more Toni Braxton shows as the entertainer recuperates following her April 7 hospitalization for chest pains, according to published reports.
The 40-year-old performer, who spent Monday (4/7) night at a Las Vegas-area hospital, underwent precautionary tests for her chest pains before being released Tuesday (4/8) afternoon, according to The Associated Press. The results of the tests have not been made public. In the past, Braxton--who reportedly is recovering at home--has been treated for pericarditis, a viral infection of the heart.
A spokesperson for the hotel-casino reportedly said Braxton is expected to return to the stage April 15. Braxton's act, "Toni Braxton: Revealed," is in the midst of a two-year run at the Flamingo.
