Legendary Record Exec Clive Davis Steps Aside
Sony BMG Music Entertainment announced Thursday (4/17) that Clive Davis would exit his post as the head of the BMG Label Group. He will remain with the label in a creative capacity.
Barry Weiss, who heads up Sony BMG's Zomba label, will succeed Davis.
In other moves at the company, BMG Label Group president and COO Charles Goldstruck and Sony BMG COO Tim Bowen are exiting the company.
