Chris Gaffney Of The Hacienda Brothers Dead At 57
Chris Gaffney of the Hacienda Brothers died at an Orange County, CA, hospital Thursday morning (4/17) after battling liver cancer.
He suffered a fall at home, and died in his sleep after being admitted to the hospital, according to his publicist.
Gaffney had a long career as a solo artist, and also recorded and toured extensively as a member of Dave Alvin & the Guilty Men.
The Hacienda Brothers was a collaboration between singer/songwriter Gaffney and Dave Gonzalez, best known as the guitarist, singer, and songwriter with the blues/rockabilly combo The Paladins.
