My Morning Jacket has booked a handful of North American dates as it gears up for the release of its forthcoming album, "Evil Urges," which is due in stores June 10. So far, the band's itinerary comprises about a half-dozen dates scattered from late April through mid-August, and the group will preview material from the set during a May 10th appearance on "Saturday Night Live."

With a new lineup and a new label, rockers Tantric are back in business and hitting the road to support their just released third album, "The End Begins." The group is currently on the West Coast and has US club dates confirmed across the US through June. Plans are also in the works for a summer headlining jaunt with special guests Vayden, Framing Hanley, Fosterchild, Course of Nature and Signum.

Swing fans are already looking forward to the holidays, as the Brian Setzer Orchestra has announced plans for its 7th Annual Christmas Extravaganza. The band'll launch the US holiday outing Nov. 24 in New Brunswick, NJ, and the tour will make its way from the East Coast to the West Coast, wrapping in late December with four shows in California.

Van Halen, whose reunion tour with lead singer David Lee Roth had been in limbo while guitarist Eddie Van Halen dealt with an undisclosed medical problem, is making good on the postponed dates. The group returned to the stage last Thursday for a performance in Reno, NV, and followed that up with a headlining performance at last Saturday's Tiger Jam benefit concert in Las Vegas. Next up on the group's schedule is a show tonight in Cincinnati, and dates are stacked up through the beginning of June.

New albums arriving in stores today include Ashlee Simpson 's "Bittersweet World," Flight of the Conchords' self-titled debut, Lyrics Born's "Everywhere at Once," Whitesnake's "Good to be Bad" and Donny Osmond's "From Donny With Love."
