Ted Nugent honored by NRA

Ted Nugent recently was honored by the National Rifle Association for his longtime support of the right to bear arms. The NRA presented the rocker with the 2009 "Defender of Freedom Award" May 16 during the 138th Annual Meetings and Exhibits in Phoenix, AZ, according to a press release. According to the inscription on the award, Nugent was singled out for his support the US Constitution and The Bill of Rights without regard to his career or the fear of criticism.  / Read more
