Chris Brown skirts jail time in Rihanna beating

Chris Brown pleaded guilty yesterday (6/22) to assault charges in exchange for zero jail time for the February beating of his then-girlfriend Rihanna, according to The Los Angeles Times. Under the terms of the plea agreement, which was reached less than two hours before the scheduled start of his hearing, Brown will serve no time behind bars but will do six months of "community labor," serve five years' probation and take a yearlong domestic violence prevention class. / Read more
