Sisqo tops 2000 Billboard Music Awards winner's list

Sisqo [ tickets ] was the big winner at Tuesday night’s (12/5) 2000 Billboard Music Awards ceremony in Las Vegas, where the “Thong Song” creator won awards in six categories, according to Billboard. Other acts that scored multiple awards included Destiny’s Child, Dixie Chicks [ tickets ], Faith Hill, ‘NSync, Britney Spears [ tickets ] and 3 Doors Down, but all trailed behind the Dru Hill singer. The awards were based on the compilation of Billboard’s December 1999-December 2000 chart data, which measures record sales and radio airplay, according to Billboard.  / Read more
