Axl Rose, during a lengthy appearance Saturday (5/6) on Eddie Trunk's syndicated radio show, said that the new Guns N' Roses [ tickets ] album "Chinese Democracy"--which has been in the works for a decade--will hit stores this fall.

Rose's appearance came about after Sebastian Bach (ex-Skid Row), who was co-hosting the show, called Rose on his cell phone and invited the GN'R frontman to join him in the studio. Rose obliged, and ended up spending about three hours on the show.

Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Fats Domino [ tickets ] canceled his planned Sunday (5/8) performance at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, citing illness.

According to reports from the festival, Domino, 78, appeared onstage briefly to apologize to fans, and to thank them for supporting Jazz Fest.
