Briefly: San Diego Street Scene, Rock the Bells, Guns N' Roses
Tool and Kanye West lead the list of performers scheduled to perform at this year's San Diego Street Scene, set for Aug. 4 and 5 outside Qualcomm Stadium.
Among the other acts scheduled to appear on one of the event's six stages are AFI, Social Distortion, Snoop Dogg, Modest Mouse, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Queens of the Stone Age, Wu Tang Clan, My Chemical Romance, Sean Paul, Bloc Party, Bad Religion, Yellowcard and Tricky.

This year's edition of Southern California's Rock the Bells festival will feature appearances by Wu-Tang Clan , Mos Def , Talib Kweli, Redman and De La Soul, among may others.

With only two weeks to rehearse, New York-based Bumblefoot (a.k.a. Ron Thal) played lead guitar during Guns N' Roses ' May 12, 14, 15 and 17 performances at New York's Hammerstein Ballroom, according to a press release. Bumblefoot takes over for Buckethead, who exited GN'R in 2004.
Original GN'R guitarist Izzy Stradlin joined the band during the final New York Show, playing "Think About You," "Patience" and "Night Train."
