Eagles Extend Reunion Run With Las Vegas Shows

The Eagles have announced a pair of late December shows at Las Vegas' Mandalay Bay Event Center, extending their latest round of reunion shows to three. The added dates will go on sale July 24th, according to a press release issued Tuesday by show promoter Evening Star.

In May, the band announced plans to perform a New Year's Eve show as the new Staples Center in Los Angeles. Tickets for the event, which will bring the band together with 70's tourmates Jackson Browne and Linda Ronstadt, raised some eyebrows with prices scaled from $50 to $1,000.

The venue, striving to be a new centerpiece for concert and sporting event in the Los Angeles area, has to date lured virtually all the city's professional arena sports teams. In recent weeks, the venue announced a mid-October booking for Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, which will officially open the facility.

The Las Vegas shows, featuring Browne as the sole support act, have been priced at $95, $250 and $450.
