Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Dr. Dre Planning Package Tour
MTV News reported Wednesday (9/15) that Snoop revealed plans for ''The Chronic 2000 Tour'' backstage at last week's Video Music Awards. No dates have been confirmed.
A preview of the tour will be coming to Hawaii later this month. According the Honolulu Star-Bulletin, Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg will headline a concert dubbed ''Break Up To Make Ups'' on Sept. 24 and 26 at an undisclosed location in Waikiki. Various other reports have described the event a three-day luau titled ''The Concert On Chronic Island.''
Eminem, Nate Dogg, Warren G., Xzibit, The Beatnuts, The WhoRidas, Tash, Kurupt, D.O.C. and MC Lite are also reportedly scheduled to appear in Hawaii. The event's sponsor is Hawaii radio station Jammin' 93.1, and station officials said more information -- including ticket availability -- is only available by listening to the station.
Before their recent appearance on the MTV awards show, Dr. Dre and Snoop hadn't performed live together for five years.
