Nonpoint [ tickets ], currently enjoying some buzz for its remake of Phil Collins' "In the Air Tonight," featured in the just-released motion-picture version of "Miami Vice," backs its fourth full-length album, "To the Pain," during a soon-to-launch headlining tour.

The Florida-based metal outfit will kick things off with an Aug. 4-5 stand in Flint, MI, and is currently scheduled to touch down in about 30 cities by the end of September. The itinerary is included below.

Joining the group on the road will be support acts Silent Civilian, Seemless and Ankia.

Released last November, "To the Pain" features the singles "Bullet With a Name" and "Alive and Kicking," music videos for both of which are streaming at the band's record-label website.

"To the Pain" follows 2004's "Recoil," the album on which Nonpoint's cover of "In the Air Tonight" originally appeared. The cut also is included on the recently released "Miami Vice" soundtrack.

Collins' original version of "In the Air Tonight" was used in the 1984 debut episode of the "Miami Vice" television series. Show-creator Michael Mann wrote and directed the big-screen spin-off, which hits theaters today (7/28).
