The Fray shakes loose more tour dates
The Fray , which last month unveiled plans for a run on the club and theater circuit, has extended the itinerary deeper into the fall.
New to the group's schedule is a stretch of 10 November shows that includes stops in New Orleans, Las Vegas, San Francisco and Seattle.
As previously reported, the Denver-based band will warm up for its road trip with a Sept. 30 headlining gig at Colorado's Red Rocks Amphitheater. The club-and-theater trek then launches Oct. 5 in Minneapolis. Aqualung will hold down the opening slot through Oct. 13, and The Feeling will take over from Oct. 17 through Oct. 30. Details are shown in the itinerary below.
An opening act for the new November dates has not yet been named.
An online presale for tickets to the newly announced shows gets underway today (8/7). More information is available at The Fray's website.
The Fray continues to back its debut album, "How to Save a Life," which surfaced last September. An updated, limited-edition version of the set will land in stores next month. The revamped set will include the original album as well as a bonus DVD featuring 45 minutes of video footage, including a tour documentary, the video for the "How to Save a Life" cut "Over My Head (Cable Car)" and a making-of the "Over My Head" video special.
Last month, The Fray issued exclusively via Apple's iTunes Music Store "Live at The Electric Factory Bootleg No. 1," a live album recorded earlier this year at the Philadelphia venue. A hard-copy version of the collection is on sale at the band's website.
