Elton John is set to issue a new studio album, dubbed "The Captain and the Kid," on Sept. 19.
The set is billed as a sequel to John's acclaimed 1975 set, "Captain Fantastic and the Dirt Brown Cowboy."
"The Bridge," the new album's first single, will be available for download beginning Aug. 22 via Apple's iTunes Music Store.
The Rolling Stones canceled their planned Monday (8/14) performance in Valladolid, Spain, after frontman Mick Jagger came down with a case of laryngitis.
"I am very sorry to be canceling this show", Jagger said in a statement posted on the band's official website. "I always love playing in Spain, but unfortunately I have no other choice and I apologize to everyone who bought tickets for tonight."
The band doesn't plan to reschedule the show; refunds can be obtained at the point of purchase, according to the statement.
Beginning today, "Paris," the debut album from hotel heiress Paris Hilton , is streaming in its entirety at aolmusic.com. The set is due in stores on Aug. 22.
