Lisa Marie Presley sets up fall tour

Lisa Marie Presley will take another swing through the US this fall as she continues to support her 2005 sophomore release, "Now What."

Presley's schedule begins at the end of September, and dates so far are lined up through mid-October. Details are included below.

According to a message posted at her website, Presley has been working on material for her next album, and is hoping to help the process along by reconnecting with fans during the tour.

"I've been writing and will continue to do so throughout the summer but I miss you terribly and need that inspiration only you guys can give," she wrote.

Released last April, "Now What" is the follow-up to Presley's gold-certified, 2003 debut, "To Whom It May Concern." The newer album features Presley's cover of Don Henley's "Dirty Laundry," which served as the set's lead-off single, and follow-up cut "Idiot."

Presley executive produced "Now What" with guitarist Michael Lockwood, and wrote the lyrics for 10 of the albums tracks..

Former Four Non-Blondes frontwoman Linda Perry--most recently known for her behind-the-scenes work with Pink, Gwen Stefani and Christina Aguilera--collaborated with Presley on the album, and guests on the cut "Shine." Also appearing on the set is Sex Pistols guitarist Steve Jones, who plays on "Idiot" and a cover of The Ramones' "Here Today, Gone Tomorrow."

The late Johnny Ramone originally hand-picked "Here Today, Gone Tomorrow" for Presley to perform on a Ramones tribute album, but the song instead turned up on "Now What"; Ramone, who died in 2004, had hoped to play on Presley's version of the song, but passed away the day she started recording it, according to Capitol Records.
