New York City is among the three cities where Sting will perform next month to support his forthcoming album, "Songs From the Labyrinth," which hits shelves Oct. 10.

Other cities on the itinerary will be London and Berlin, according to Sting's website.

All three shows will take place at small venues. The London gig is set for Oct. 4 at LSO St. Luke's Church, but dates and locations for the Berlin and New York shows haven't been announced.

"Songs From the Labyrinth" is an album of songs by 16th century composer John Dowland, performed entirely on the lute.

Isley Brothers leader Ronald Isley, who was convicted last year of five counts of tax evasion, has been sentenced to three years and one month in prison.

The 65-year-old singer was also ordered to pay more than $3 million in back taxes to the IRS.
