The Who Schedules A Second Night at Chicago's House Of Blues
The Who 's new performance plans include a second night at House of Blues in Chicago. Tickets to the Nov. 12 show will be distributed via lottery at the venue's box office on Oct. 16, and proceeds will again benefit the Maryville Academy, a Chicago-area facility for disadvantaged youth.
Numbered wristbands for the new lottery will be distributed between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. at the House Of Blues box office in Chicago. Numbers will be called shortly after 9 a.m., and people with the corresponding wristbands will then be allowed to buy up to two tickets (which are again priced at $300) at the box office. Additional information is available from the House of Blues Chicago box office, which can be reached at (312) 923-2000.
Despite their $300 price tag, tickets for a Nov. 13 performance by The Who were quickly snapped up earlier this month.
Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder , backed by Olympia, Wash.-based indie-rockers C Average , will be the opening act for both shows.
The Who is scheduled to play acoustic sets on both days of the Bridge School Benefit on Oct. 30 and 31 at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, Calif.
