Disturbed heads up Music as a Weapon tour
The 20-date outing launches Nov. 15 in Providence, RI, and wraps up just before Christmas. The itinerary is included below.
Disturbed continues to back its latest album, "Ten Thousand Fists," which surfaced last September and debuted at No. 1 on The Billboard 200 chart thanks to first-week sales of about 240,000 copies. The Chicago-based group recorded the disc in its hometown, and co-produced the set with Johnny K, who oversaw the group's multi-platinum 2000 release, "The Sickness," as well as 2002's platinum-plus-selling "Believe," which also debuted at No. 1.
Nonpoint is working the road behind its fourth studio set, last September's "To the Pain," which features the singles "Bullet With a Name" and "Alive and Kicking." On Nov. 7, the group offers up "Live and Kicking," a live CD/DVD set.
Flyleaf's self-titled debut hit stores last October. The disc houses the band's breakthrough single, "I'm So Sick," as well as follow-up cut "Fully Alive," both of which are streaming at the group's website.
Stone Sour, featuring Slipknot's Corey Taylor and Jim Root, recently released "Come What(ever) May," its first new studio album since its 2002 self-titled debut. The new disc, which entered The Billboard 200 at No. 4, features the hit single "Through Glass."
Founded by Disturbed in 2001, the Music as a Weapon tour has featured acts including Taproot, Chevelle and Drowning Pool during it previous incarnations.
