Killswitch Engage plugs in for fall tour

Killswitch Engage , whose new album hits stores next month, will precede the release with a round of fall tour dates that will also feature fellow Massachusetts-based rockers Shadows Fall and Bury Your Dead .

About a dozen dates are lined up, the first of which takes place Oct. 26 in Hawaii; the rest of the concerts are booked on the mainland, and run from an Oct. 29 show in New Jersey through a Nov. 19 show in Tucson. Details are included below.

On Nov. 21, Killswitch Engage offers up "As Daylight Dies," its fourth studio set, and third release for Roadrunner Records. The set follows 2004's "The End of Heartache" and last year's gold-certified DVD "(Set This) World Ablaze."

"Everyone is excited about the new material," bassist Mike D'Antonio said in a statement. "We went back to the basics of everyone contributing on this record. We can't wait to get it out."

Fans can check out the full tracklisting and cover art for "As Daylight Dies" at Roadrunner's website. The site also features an audio stream of the album's title track.

Shadows Fall is currently in the studio with producer Nick Raskulinecz working on a new album that is due out sometime in early 2007, while Bury Your Dead is backing this year's "Beauty and the Breakdown."
