Cheetah Girls speed through more cities
Disney divas The Cheetah Girls , who last month launched 40-city tour that wraps in mid-November, have booked a new stretch of shows that kicks off later that month and runs into early 2007.
Following the Nov. 16th conclusion of their latest round of roadwork, the trio will take a break before launching the new batch of dates Nov. 27 in Tulsa, OK, and are scheduled to make stops in about two-dozen new cities by mid-January. The itinerary is shown below.
Opening for The Cheetah Girls on all dates will be fellow female trio Everlife . The group is due to issue its Hollywood Records debut early next year, according to its website.
The Cheetah Girls--Adrienne Bailon, Sabrina Bryan and Kiely Williams--first turned up in the 2003 Disney Channel original movie based on a best-selling children's-book series of the same name, and made their recorded debut on that film's companion soundtrack. They inked a record deal with Disney last year, the first fruit of which was the holiday album "Cheetah-licious Christmas."
In August, Disney issued "Cheetah Girls 2," the soundtrack to the film's sequel, which debuted on the Disney Channel last month. The music video for the album's lead-off track, "The Party's Just Begun," is streaming at Disney's Cheetah Girls website.
