The Game bolts to No. 1
Rapper The Game 's sophomore set, "Doctor's Advocate," sold about 358,000 copies during its first week in stores to claim the No. 1 slot on the latest US album chart.
Entering The Billboard 200 at a distant No. 2 is Akon 's "Konvicted," which sold 284,000 copies. The hits compilation "NOW! That's What I Call Music, Vol. 23," sold 194,000 copies, and falls from No. 1 to No. 3, according to Billboard, which bases its album chart on Nielsen SoundScan retail-sales reports.
Vocalist Josh Groban 's "Awake" falls two notches to No. 4 with 150,000 copies sold, while the "Hannah Montana " soundtrack holds steady at No. 5 with 114,000.
Rounding out the chart are Keith Urban 's "Love, Pain & the Whole Crazy Thing," Sugarland's "Enjoy the Ride," Tenacious D's "The Pick of Destiny" soundtrack, Beyonce's "B'Day," and (+44)'s "when Your Heart Stops Beating."
