Guster 'Ganging Up' on another tour leg
The Massachusetts-bred band will also join with Barenaked Ladies for several support dates in December, adding to its previously scheduled engagement with the Canadian popsters aboard "Ships and Dip," a mid-January, five-day cruise. More information about the excursion is available at the cruise's website.
After playing a few December headlining dates before setting sail with the Ladies in January, Guster will hook up with singer/songwriter Mason Williams for a 13-city outing kicking off Feb. 15 in North Charleston, SC. The co-headlining trek will run through mid-March.
Released in June, "Ganging Up on the Sun" follows Guster's 2003 set, "Keep It Together." Last month, the set scored the major-label Album of the Year award at the annual Boston Music Awards ceremony.
Three tracks from "Ganging Up on the Sun"--"Satellite," "One Man Wrecking Machine" and "Ruby Falls"--are streaming at Guster's MySpace website.
