Taking Back Sunday to headline next year
Taking Back Sunday will kick off a North American headlining tour in February that will take the alt-rockers through major and secondary markets across the US and Canada through April.
The outing gets underway Feb. 22 at Penn State, with Underoath and Armor for Sleep opening. Confirmed dates are listed below. More shows are expected to be announced soon.
Information about on-sales can be found at the band's website.
The run of Canadian dates in March will mark Taking Back Sunday 's first-ever headlining tour of the country. The group takes off for the UK after that, according to the tour itinerary listed at its website.
Currently, the band is playing holiday radio shows across the US. The guys finished the European "Taste of Chaos" tour last month.
Taking Back Sunday's gold-certified album "Louder Now" was released in April. It is being followed by the Dec. 12 release of "Louder Now: Partone," a DVD that includes behind-the-scenes footage, music videos and live clips from the band's performance at the Long Beach Arena, according to a press release. An audio CD is also included.
