Michigan rocker Bob Seger is in the midst of the first leg of a tour with his Silver Bullet Band that marks the singer's first extended roadwork since 1996. He'll be on the road into next year.
On-sales get underway Saturday (12/9) for Seger's appearances in Charleston, SC; Worchester, MA; Orlando, FL; Denver; Washington, DC; and North Little Rock, AR.

Country favorite George Strait has tapped 16-year-old singer/songwriter Taylor Swift to open during his upcoming 2007 arena tour.
Tickets hit the market Saturday (12/9) for Strait's shows in Bossier City, LA; Charlottesville, VA; (via johnpauljonesarena.com); and Tacoma, WA.

Eric Clapton will kick off the second leg of his North American tour Feb. 28 in Dallas, hitting 11 states in the Southwest, Midwest and on the West Coast. Robert Cray will again open, as he did on Clapton's recent East Coast dates.
Saturday (12/9) on-sales are set for Clapton's upcoming gig in Las Vegas, and on-sales begin Sunday (12/10) in Los Angeles and Anaheim, CA. Denver on-sales are planned for Monday (12/11).

Country star Toby Keith has extended his "Hookin' Up & Hangin' Out Tour" into 2007 with a batch of new dates that will keep the singer busy until mid-February.
On-sales get underway Saturday (12/9) for Keith's concerts in East Rutherford, NJ; Providence, RI; and Manchester, NH. Monday (12/11) on-sales are planned for Gainesville, FL.
