Briefly: Kanye West, Thom Yorke, Jamie Foxx, Fergie, Eddie Money

Legendary daredevil Evel Knievel has filed a lawsuit against rapper Kanye West over West's music video for the song "Touch the Sky."

In the video, West, while portraying a character dubbed "Evel Kanyevel," is seen wearing a replica of Knievel's red-white-and-blue jumpsuit while simulating Knievel's 1974 attempt to jump Idaho's Snake River Canyon in a rocket. Knievel's lawsuit, which reportedly was filed Monday (12/11) in a Tampa, FL, court, claims West infringed on Knievel's trademarked name and likeness.

"That video that Kanye West put out is the most worthless piece of crap I've ever seen in my life, and he uses my image to catapult himself on the public," Knievel, 68, told the Associated Press.

Other tracks include: "Good Lovin," "Build Me Up Buttercup," "Jenny Take a Ride" and "Mockingbird."

Members of Tower of Power, Starship, Gregg Allman Band, Cold Blood and the Etta James horn players were all involved in the recordings, according to a press release. The album was produced by Randy Forrester, Money's keyboard player.
