Weekend Ticketing: Fall Out Boy, SnoCore 2007, Meat Loaf, Taste of Chaos, George Strait

Pop-rock foursome Fall Out Boy will start the New Year by visiting more than a dozen North American markets. Unlike the band's arena-laden schedule from earlier this year, the "Friends and Enemies" tour--which also features New Found Glory, Early November and Permanent Me--will focus on clubs and small theaters.

Tickets hit the box office Friday (12/15) for the band's January stop in Cleveland, and on Saturday (12/16) for shows in Detroit, Albuquerque, Denver, Boston, Philadelphia, Atlanta and Raleigh, NC.

Meat Loaf is cooking up a 2007 world tour to support his "Bat Out of Hell III: the Monster is Loose" album, which was released on Halloween. The North American leg kicks off in late February and runs into mid-April.

The Loaf serves up a heaping helping of on-sales this weekend, with tickets scheduled to surface Saturday (12/16) for shows in Pala, CA; Syracuse, NY; Poughkeepsie, NY; Binghamton, NY; Hershey, PA; Washington, DC; Clearwater, Boca Raton and Orlando, FL; Wallingford, CT; and New York City.

Army of Anyone tops the roster for the 12th annual winter SnoCore Tour, which gets underway next month and will also feature fellow rock outfit Hurt, as well as a third, yet-to-be-named act. The six-week outing launches Jan. 18 in Houston and is expected to hit about 30 cities. Dates and venues are confirmed for about a dozen stops, tickets for most of which will hit the box office this weekend.

Tickets are available Friday (12/15) for the tour's stop in Knoxville, TN, and Saturday (12/16) on-sales are in place for shows in Houston, Austin and Dallas, TX; Baton Rouge, LA; Greensboro, NC; Myrtle Beach, SC; Norfolk, VA; Towson, MD; and Hartford, CT.

Dates for the 2007 Taste of Chaos Tour, the winter version of the annual Warped Tour summer outing, have been announced, with the jaunt kicking off Feb. 15 in Seattle and winding down nearly two months later in Calgary, Alberta. The lineup includes The Used , 30 Seconds to Mars, Senses Fail, Saosin, Chiodos, Aiden, Evaline and others.

Saturday on-sales are lined up for the tour's stops in Fresno and San Diego, CA; El Paso and San Antonio, TX; Champaign, IL; Milwaukee; Dayton, OH; and Portland, ME.
