Nas tops US album chart

Hip-hop veteran Nas has nabbed his third No. 1 album with "Hip Hop is Dead," which sold 355,000 copies during its first week in stores.

Close on its heels was the Disney soundtrack " Hannah Montana ," which inched up one slot to No. 2 with 349,000 copies sold. The hits compilation "Now 23" sold 313,000 copies, moving up one notch to No. 3 on The Billboard 200 chart.

Carrie Underwood 's "Some Hearts" jumps two notches to No. 4 with 292,000 sold, while The Beatles ' "Love" sold 282,000 copies to round out the Top 5, according to Billboard, which bases its album chart on Nielsen SoundScan retail-sales reports.

The remainder of the Top 10 includes Bow Wow 's "The Price of Fame," Josh Groban's "Awake," Chris Daughtry's self-titled debut, Justin Timberlake's "FutureSex/LoveSounds" and Akon's "Konvicted."
