Omarion logs top-selling album
Omarion 's "21" tops the latest US album chart with sales of 119,000 copies during its debut week in stores, Billboard reports.
The R&B singer holds off Akon 's "Konvicted," which charges from No. 10 to No. 2 on sales of 112,000 copies. The "Dreamgirls" soundtrack leaps from No. 31 to No. 3 with 104,000 copies sold.
With sales of 101,000 copies, Nas ' "Hip-Hop is Dead" slips from No. 1 to No. 4 on The Billboard 200 chart, which is based upon Nielsen SoundScan retail-sales reports. Young Jeezy 's "The Inspiration" jumps 13 notches to close out the Top 5, with 92,000 sold.
The Top 10 is rounded out by the "NOW 23" hits compilation, the compilation "Eminem Presents: The Re-Up," Justin Timberlake's "FutureSex/LoveSounds," Ciara's "Ciara: The Evolution" and the "Hannah Montana" soundtrack.
