Michigan rocker Bob Seger [ tickets ] and his Silver Bullet Band are continuing down the road of their Face the Promise Tour by adding additional shows in the Midwest and West.

Tickets for a recently confirmed show in Oakland, CA, will go on sale Saturday (1/13), while on-sales get underway Jan. 20 for new shows in Las Vegas and Phoenix. On-sale information is expected soon for a March 6 date in Omaha, according to promoters. Venue and date information is listed below.

Seger is working the road on his first concert tour since 1996 in support of his latest album, "Face the Promise." The set, which hit stores Sept. 2, debuted at No. 4 on The Billboard 200 album chart and recently was certified platinum, marking the 11th platinum album of his career

A 2004 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, Seger began his recording career almost 40 years ago, when he released "Ramblin' Gamblin' Man" with his then-current band, The Bob Seger System. He went on to record more than a dozen albums, most with his longtime group, The Silver Bullet Band, and has notched lifetime album sales of nearly 50 million.

Seger's 1994 "Greatest Hits" compilation has sold more than 7 million copies to date, and has remained on the Billboard Pop Catalog chart for an unbroken 600-week run.
