Keith Urban back in the saddle

After three months of alcohol rehab, Keith Urban is ready to get back to work.

The country singer's publicist told reporters that Urban finished his treatment at the Betty Ford Center in Palm Springs, CA, last weekend, and will head to Germany this week for promotional appearances.

The much-anticipated tour to support Urban's latest album, "Love, Pain & the Whole Crazy Thing," is set to kick off in April with a run of club shows in the UK and Germany, according to a statement on Urban's website. The outing will then move to Australian arenas in May, followed by the US and Canada in June. The itinerary is still being finalized.

Urban, who married Nicole Kidman last June, checked himself into the treatment facility just before the album's November release, forcing him to delay the tour and promotional appearances. Despite that, "Love, Pain & the Whole Crazy Thing" climbed to No. 1 on Billboard's Country Album Chart and spawned hit singles "Once in a Lifetime" and "Stupid Boy," both of which are streaming at Urban's MySpace page.

"Once in a Lifetime" has also earned the Aussie star a Grammy nomination for Best Male Country Vocal Performance. He is the reigning Country Music Association Best Male Vocalist for the third straight year.

"Love, Pain & the Whole Crazy Thing" is Urban's fourth studio album following 2004's multiplatinum release, "Be Here," which also shot to No. 1 on the country album chart.
