The two main acts will be supplemented throughout the tour by special guest performers to be announced at a later date, according to the outing's organizers.
"We're very excited about the first ever Diamonds Tour and are honored to have John Digweed headline," said MSTRKRFT's Jesse Keeler in a press release. "We think it's the type of lineup fans have been searching for.
"We are always in search of the best party possible and this is probably about as close as you can get."
Digweed, whose breakthrough as a DJ came with 1996's groundbreaking "Renaissance: The Mix Collection," will be touring behind his latest album, "Transitions Vol. 2." The set, which is scheduled for a Feb. 8 release, is a spin-off of Digweed's popular syndicated British radio show, "Transitions," which is heard by a weekly audience of more than 2 million listeners, according to Digweed's record label.
MSTRKRFT, the project of Toronto musician Jesse Keeler and studio wizard Al-P, are backing their most recent release, 2006's "The Looks." The duo is currently working on the album's follow-up, set for release later in 2007.
