Brooks & Dunn's 'Long Haul' gets longer
Country music power-duo Brooks & Dunn are still truckin' on their Long Haul tour, playing their own shows from February to April and then hitting the inaugural Stagecoach festival in Indio, CA, before taking off on Kenny Chesney 's Flip Flop Summer Tour in June.
Brooks & Dunn will start things off Feb. 5 with a gig in San Antonio, TX. Then, almost a month later, they'll do a four-night run at the Las Vegas Hilton as part of the their two-year contract for extended appearances at the venue.
After their May 6 Stagecoach performance, Brooks & Dunn will join Chesney, Sugarland, Sara Evans and Pat Green for the Flip Flop Tour's six-show run of NFL stadiums from June to August. Details are listed below.
Now in their 15th year together, Brooks & Dunn have scored a record-setting 19 Country Music Association Awards, in addition to a slew of other accolades.
Their ninth album, 2005's "Hillbilly Deluxe," has been certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America. The 13-song set, produced by the revered Tony Brown (George Strait, Reba McEntire), features guest stars including Vince Gill and Sheryl Crow.
"Hillbilly Deluxe" follows 2003's "Red Dirt Road," which continued a string of platinum-certified records by the duo. According to their label bio, Brooks & Dunn have sold more than 28 million albums in their career.
