Trace Adkins rings up new 'Dangerous' dates

Country star Trace Adkins has rolled out a large number of new dates for his current headlining tour as he continues to back last year's "Dangerous Man."
The singer kicked off his current trek Feb. 2 in Fairfax, VA, and will continue tonight (2/8) in Cincinnati. His current schedule calls for more than 40 shows as part of an itinerary that now spreads to mid-year and beyond, when Adkins will switch gears and jump onto the county-fair circuit.
Tickets for most of Adkins' upcoming shows are currently on sale, with a handful of dates going public as the tour advances. On-sale dates can be found at the singer's website.
Released in August, "Dangerous Man" features the cut "Ladies Love Country Boys," the music video for which premiered on CMT last month. Adkins filmed the cut in Los Angeles in October with director Michael Solomon.
Adkins recently received his first gold certification for ringtone sales. Cellphone users have purchased the ringtone version of his 2005 single "Honky Tonk Badonkadonk" more than 570,000 times, according to a press release.
