Norah Jones reclaims No. 1 on album chart
The new set from Jones sold 211,000 copies during its latest week in stores, enough to beat out a strong debut week by the posthumous Gerald Levert album "In My Songs," which sold 165,000 copies, according to Billboard.
Thanks to last week's Grammy Awards telecast, the "Grammy Nominees 2007" compilation jumps four slots to No. 3 this week with sales of 131,000, while Grammy performer and nominee Corinne Bailey Rae 's self-titled debut rises five places to No. 4 on The Billboard 200 chart. Billboard bases its album chart on Nielsen SoundScan retail-sales reports.
Coming in at No. 5 is last week's No. 1 album, Fall Out Boy 's "Infinity on High," which sold 119,000 copies.
The biggest Grammy beneficiary was the Dixie Chicks ' "Taking the Long Way," which sold 103,000 copies over the last week and jumped from No. 72 to No. 8.
Rounding out the Top 10 are Robin Thicke's "The Evolution of Robin Thicke" (No. 6), Justin Timberlake's "FutureSex/LoveSounds" (No. 7), Daughtry's self-titled debut (No. 9) and John Mayer's "Continuum" (No. 10).
