Although Boston-bred indie-rockers Apollo Sunshine [ tickets ] are often labeled "neo-psychedelic" by the press, the group offers up a platter of diverse influences, ranging from Olivia Tremor Control-type formal pop experiments to Flaming Lips-style twisted-but-familiar, crowd-pleasing tunesmanship.
