Foghat Ready To Tour

Bob Grossweiner and Jane Cohen report: Foghat is ready and pumped up to return to the road after its 25th anniversary tour last year was unexpectedly cut short because of vocalist Lonesome Dave Peverett's bout with cancer. "I didn't think things were looking too good there for a while," Peverett admitted, "but now I'm happy to be getting back on the road doing what I love."

Touring with its original lineup, Foghat will be playing arenas, theaters, fairs and clubs. ''We've never done a bad tour,'' said guitarist Rod Price. ''Going out there and playing live is the most natural thing in the world for us.''

Foghat kicks off its tour on June 5 in Keshena, Wisconsin.
