This year's Labor Day weekend moe.down party--hosted by its namesake, jam-band moe.--will feature sets from Ryan Adams [ tickets ], Medeski Scofield Martin & Wood, and Amos Lee [ tickets ], among others.

The three-day event will take place Aug. 31-Sept. 2 at the Snow Ridge Ski Area in Turin, NY. The hosts plan to play a whopping six sets over the weekend, which will also feature J.J. Grey & Mofro [ tickets ], Meat Puppets [ tickets ], and Ryan Montbleu and The Brakes.

Organizers expect to add more names to the event's roster in coming weeks.

The annual three-day event, returning for its eighth year, has drawn a wide variety of acts over its history, including The Flaming Lips, They Might Be Giants, Matisyahu, Ani DiFranco, Blues Traveler, Leo Kottke, Michael Franti and Spearhead, Nellie McKay, David Grisman and Les Claypool.

Moe. [ tickets ] has also lined up a number of shows in April before the band heads off to Japan for several shows, with a headlining stretch kicking off April 14 in San Diego. The group is backing its seventh studio album, "The Conch," which hit stores in January.
