Wilco returns to touring in front of 'Blue Sky'
Wilco bounces back onto the road this spring to support its latest album, "Sky Blue Sky," which hits stores in May.
The Chicagoans will play an April 6, one-off show in their hometown before heading off to the opposite side of the world for a brief tour of Australia. After taking a few weeks off, Wilco will barnstorm through a European tour before heading home again, kicking off an 11-city stretch with a June 13 show in Davenport, IA.
Wilco's North American itinerary is included below, and the band's complete overseas schedule is available at its website.
"Sky Blue Sky," due in stores May 15, is Wilco's follow-up to 2004's "A Ghost is Born." The album is currently streaming in its entirety at the group's website.
As is the case with the band's previous two albums, "Sky Blue Sky" leaked onto the Internet well in advance of its release date.
"There's probably some good argument to be made that [the latest online leak] will prevent a few people from buying the record," Wilco frontman Jeff Tweedy told Billboard.com recently. "But there's also the idea that I believe is true for us, which is, it's people listening to our music."
