Bow Wow shares 'The Price of Fame'

Bow Wow is getting ready to kick off that arena tour he promised fans last December when he released his fifth studio album, "Price of Fame," and played only a handful of shows.

The 20-year-old rap star will bring several guests along on the Price of Fame Tour, including rappers Mims, Huey and Crime Mob, and R&B singers Lloyd and Sammie.

The outing rolls out April 6 with a show in Cincinnati. From there, the performers will hit cities in the eastern half of the US through May 27. Dates are listed below.

"Shortie Like Mine," the lead-off single from "The Price of Fame," hit No. 1 on rap charts before the album was released last year. Follow-up singles "Don't Know Bout That" and "Outta My System" are streaming at Bow Wow's MySpace page.

The record, produced by long-time Bow Wow collaborator Jermaine Dupri, features a bevy of guest stars, including R. Kelly, Da Brat, Lil Wayne, Pimp C and Chris Brown. It follows 2005's platinum-certified "Wanted."

In addition to working on new music and collaborations this year, Bow Wow is expected to debut an MTV cartoon series, "Homeboyz." He has also kept a busy acting schedule as of late, including a part in the motion picture "The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift" and a guest spot on the TV show "Smallville."
