Sounds of the Underground taps Shadows Fall
GWAR will close most nights of the metalcore roadshow, with Chimaira , Every Time I Die and Shadows Fall rotating in the headline position.
Special guests Lamb of God, Suicidal Tendencies, Testament, Mushroomhead, Hatebreed, and Behemoth will also rock the house on select dates. Details about those performances are available at the tour's MySpace page.
Rounding out the bill are Job For a Cowboy, Necro, Darkest Hour, Amon Amarth, The Acacia Strain, The Devil Wears Prada, Heavy Heavy Low Low, The Number Twelve Looks Like You, Goatwhore, This Is Hell and 2 Cents.
The outing launches July 6 in Dallas, and travels all over the US and Canada before closing down Aug. 11 in Louisville, KY. Dates are listed below.
Ticket pre-sales are currently under way, with a portion of the proceeds being donated to Cure Autism Now! The general on-sale begins May 11. More information about ticketing can be found at the tour's website.
Retailer Hot Topic is presenting the metal fest's third-annual run, and will carry the 2007 version of the double CD/DVD "Sounds of the Underground" compilation beginning in late June.
