Metallica, Kid Rock, Stone Temple Pilots Top Rockfest Bill

emailRockfest, a Chicago music festival that is entering its third year, has assembled a roster of headliners that includes Metallica , Kid Rock , Stone Temple Pilots and Third Eye Blind . The event will take place on July 22 at Chicago Motor Speedway.
The bill will also include the Tragically Hip, Veruca Salt, Tonic, Barenaked Ladies, Guster and Nine Days. The festival--which is officially dubbed Hard Rock Café Rockfest presented by Oldsmobile Alero--will also feature an entertainment zone with extreme sports demonstrations, lifestyle and cultural exhibits, vendors and an on-site Hard Rock Café restaurant.
Tickets to the festival are scheduled to go on sale on June 3.
