Briefly: 50 Cent, Satellite Party, Telluride Festival, Cream

Originally scheduled for release June 26, "curtis," the next album from multi-platinum rapper 50 Cent , has been pushed back until Sept. 2.

The delay is necessary in order to facilitate a "simultaneous worlwide release," according to Interscope Records, which said in a press release that the album is "near completion [but] unable to make the original June date."

"I'm an international artist," 50 Cent said in a message posted at his website. "My fans worldwide deserve to receive my album at the same time as my fans here in the US. Taking that into consideration, moving the album to September was a necessary course of action."
