Clint Black rides through fall
Country star Clint Black is filling in his tour itinerary with US dates that take him through mid-November.
The singer/songwriter continues his ongoing trek this month with festival shows in Minnesota and Wisconsin, and casino gigs in Nevada. Then he's off to Texas and Pennsylvania next month and California in August. Black's fall schedule gets busier, with a steady stream of shows all over the country from September through November, plus a stop in Niagara Falls, Ontario. Details are listed below.
The Texas cowboy traditionalist released "The Love Songs" earlier this year, a set that comprises romantic hits from his 18-year career. The album includes the Grammy-nominated duet "When I Said I Do," which Black sings with his wife, Lisa Hartman Black.
His most recent studio album, 2005's "Drinkin' Songs & Other Logic," is Black's 11th studio set. It followed 2004's "Spend My Time," which marked the singer's comeback after a five-year hiatus from the country music biz.
A new, full-length album of original songs is in the works for this year, according to a press release.
Black burst onto the country music scene with his 1989 debut, "Killin' Time," which scored five No. 1 singles. The entertainer has since racked up a heap of awards and platinum-selling albums, and launched an acting career.
