Michael Buble adds triple shots in several cities

Michael Buble fans are snapping up tickets to his upcoming US tour, prompting the Canadian crooner to add third shows in several major markets.

The outing, which is set to kick off July 12 in Reno, NV, now has third nights in Chicago, New York City, Los Angeles and Seattle, as well as two-night stands in Minneapolis, Boston, Philadelphia and Atlanta. A date in Verona, NY, was also recently added to the fold. Details are listed below.

Following the US trek, which wraps in late August, Buble will head across the Pond for a major tour of Europe. Those dates can be found at his website.

The road work supports Buble's third studio release, "Call Me Irresponsible," which debuted at No. 2 on The Billboard 200 chart last month and then snagged the No. 1 spot in its second week.

The set comprises standards including "I've Got the World on a String," "The Best is Yet to Come" and a gospel version of Frank Sinatra's "That's Life," as well as covers of Leonard Cohen's "I'm Your Man" and Eric Clapton's "Wonderful Tonight." It also introduces two new originals, including the Buble-penned radio hit "Everything," which is streaming at his MySpace page.

The new album follows 2005's platinum-selling "It's Time," which has remained on the The Billboard Traditional Jazz chart for two years and won four Juno Awards (the Canadian equivalent of the Grammys).

Buble, who has drawn comparisons to legendary crooners like Sinatra and Tony Bennett, has sold at least 13 million albums worldwide since bursting onto the scene in 2003, according to a press release.
