T.I. bolts to the top of the album chart
" T.I. vs. T.I.P.," the latest set from rapper T.I., sold 468,000 copies during its debut week in stores, enough to easily claim the No. 1 position on the US album chart.
Last week's No. 1 set, Miley Cyrus ' two-disc "Hannah Montana 2 (Soundtrack)/Meet Miley Cyrus)," sold 188,000 copies and slipped to No. 2 on The Billboard 200 chart, which is based on Nielsen SoundScan retail reports.
Falling one slot to No. 3 is Kelly Clarkson 's "My December," which sold 113,000 copies over the last week. Bon Jovi 's "Lost Highway" moves down one notch to No. 4 on sales of 94,000. Rockers Velvet Revolver enter the chart at No. 5 with their new set, "Libertad," which sold 92,000 copies.
Rounding out the Top 10 are Kelly Rowland 's "Ms. Kelly," Brad Paisley 's "5th Gear," Amy Winehouse 's "Back to Black," Linkin Park 's "Minutes to Midnight" and The White Stripes ' "Icky Thump."
