Prince
"Planet Earth"
(Sony)

A seemingly tireless musician, Prince returns to the fray with a follow-up to 2006's "3121," which, amazingly, was the first Prince album to debut at the top of the charts. The first single from "Planet Earth" is the tune "Guitar."

Having played arguably the biggest showcase on planet earth--the halftime show at the most recent Super Bowl--as well as various small venue shows, Prince will now go about supporting his new album in various ways. Most notably, he will launch a 21-show run at London's new O2 Arena beginning Aug. 1. The first 15 concerts sold out in a matter of hours, according to His Purple Highness' website, which states: "The 21 shows in London will see Prince perform his greatest hits for the last time ever, centre stage in the round."

During a recent press conference, Prince also said the UK appearances would be his last "for a while" as he plans to "travel and study the bible."

Tegan & Sara
"The Con"
(Sire)

The Canadian indie-pop duo, which consists of twin sisters Tegan and Sara Quin, return with their fifth album. "The Con," the follow-up to 2004's "So Jealous," was co-produced by the sisters and Chris Walla, and features special guests including Jason McGerr of Death Cab for Cutie, Matt Sharp of The Rentals and Hunter Burgan of AFI.

"The Con" will be an available in two formats--the regular edition featuring just the music and a special edition that includes a humorous, 14-chapter movie.

The sisters are currently supporting "The Con" with a lengthy North American tour, which is set to wrap up Oct. 16 in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Waylon Jennings & The Waymore Blues Band
"Never Say Die: The Complete Final Concert"
(Legacy)

This box set, which features a DVD and two audio CDs, captures the country legend's last major concert, which was held at Nashville's historic Ryman Auditorium in early 2000. Two years after this concert, Jennings, 64, died in his sleep in Arizona of diabetic complications.

The set includes such Waylon staples as "Good Hearted Woman," "Mamas Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up To Be Cowboys" and "Amanda." Special guests at the concert included Travis Tritt, Montgomery Gentry and John Anderson.
