'High School Musical 2' holds steady at No. 1
For the second straight week, the " High School Musical 2" soundtrack is the top-selling album in the US.
The made-for-TV movie's soundtrack moved 367,000 copies during its second week in stores, according to Billboard, easily outdistancing Talib Kweli 's "Ear Drum," which sold about 60,000 copies during its debut week.
Another Disney product, Miley Cyrus ' " Hannah Montana 2 (Soundtrack)/Meet Miley Cyrus," moved 58,000 copies and slips to No. 3 on the latest Billboard 200 album chart. Billboard bases its chart on Nielsen SoundScan retail reports.
The "Hairspray" soundtrack moves up one rung to No. 4 on sales of 53,000 copies, while the "Now 25" hits compilation slips one notch to No. 5 with sales of 52,000.
Rounding out the Top 10 are Fergie 's "The Dutchess," Swizz Beatz 's "One Man Band Man," As I Lay Dying 's "An Ocean Between Us," Nickelback 's "All the Right Reasons" and UGK 's "Underground Kings."
